Focus Chianti Classico: storia, territorio, UGA, terroir, assaggi
• Il Chianti Classico ha una lunga storia di rapporto col vino, ma è un territorio vasto e di non facile lettura. Altitudini diverse, esposizioni diverse, terreni diversi ed anche stili e addirittura blend diversi (il disciplinare li consente).
• In un contesto simile diventa decisivo un elemento del terroir che è l’unico non dato dalla natura: il fattore umano.
• In questo report ho provato a dare una rappresentazione sintetica, ma esaustiva, di tutti questi elementi, aggiungendo alcuni suggerimenti sulla base delle degustazioni più significative fatte durante la Chianti Classico Collection 2023 (CCC23).

Chianti Classico focus: history, territory, UGA, terroir and tastings
• Chianti Classico has a long history of relationship with wine, but it is a vast territory that is not easy to read. Different altitudes, different exposures, different soils and even different styles and even blends (the “specification”disciplinare” allows for them).
• In such a context, an element of terroir that is the only one not given by nature becomes decisive: the human factor.
• In this report I have tried to give a concise but comprehensive representation of all these elements, adding some suggestions based on the most significant tastings made during the Chianti Classico Collection 2023 (CCC23).
